It is a national holiday established by law to reflect on the founding of the nation and to cultivate a love for the country.<\/p>\n<p>In observance of this day, the National Foundation Day Celebration Parade takes place around Meiji Jingu Shrine in Shibuya, Tokyo. The event is organized by the Association to Celebrate the Founding of Japan in honor of the nation\u2019s founding by Emperor Jimmu.<\/p>\n<p>The parade consists of two main divisions: the Mikoshi Division featuring portable shrines and the Marching Division.
